Influence of Structure of Amino Acids on Their Adsorption on Copper Electrode

The adsorption of a number of amino acids on a copper electrode is studied at negative potentials. The pe- culiarities are established in the effects of amino acid structure on the adsorption mechanisms and values. It is found that glycine, alanine and asparagine molecules reorientate during the adsorption process. The assumptions are made about the mechanisms of adsorption, which is possible in the form of both un- charged molecules and anions.
