Simple Analytical Model of Biosensor Competition Analysis
for Detection of Low Molecular Weight Analytes

A steady-state model of competition inhibition analysis and its application for determination of
sulfamethoxazole in aqueous solutions (0,01-100 μg/mL) using surface plasmon resonanse were
considered. The analytical expression (logistic curve), connecting the steady-state response of the bio-
sensor with the concentration of the low-molecular weight analyte, its immobilized analogue and biologi-
cal receptor, was obtained.
