Influence of Copperceria Oxide Catalyst Support Nature
on Preferential Oxidation of CO in Hydrogen-Rich Gas Mixtures

Catalytic properties of copperceria oxide catalysts supported over zirconia, alumina, titania, manganese oxides were investigated in preferential oxidation of CO in hydrogen-rich gas mixtures. It was shown that high activity and selectivity of the catalysts deposited on zirconia and alumina are caused by the presence, together with copper(II), of the larger quantities of copper(I).
