Kinetics of Oxidation of Diethylsulfide in В(ОН)3 - Н2О22О System

Obtained data on kinetics of diethylsulfide (Et2S) oxidation with hydrogen peroxide in the aqueous solutions catalyzed by boric acid allow to conclude, that the active spesies are monoperoxoborates B(O2H)(ОН)3-and diperoxoborates B(O2H)2(ОН)2-. The reaction rates of Et2S with B(O2H)(ОН)3- and B(O2H)2(OH)2- are respectively 2,5 and 100 times greater than with H2O2.
