Effect of the Fractal Dimension of the Porous Catalyst
on the Activation Energy in the CO Oxidation

By the example of reaction of the CO oxidation we introduce a new approach establishing a relationship between the activation energy of the limitative stage of the heterogeneous catalytic process and fractal di- mension of a catalyst. It is shown that activation energy of the process increases with increasing the fractal dimension of a catalyst, i.e. with grow spatial inhomogeneity of a catalyst.
